  • I work with children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, or life transitions. I use expressive arts, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapy to help clients feel grounded, understood, and empowered.

  • I specialize in supporting anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, perfectionism, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also work with kids and teens on impulse control, peer or school stress, identity development, and family communication. My approach blends expressive arts, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapy to help clients build resilience and confidence.

  • I use a blend of expressive arts therapy, play-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness. For adults, I may integrate hypnotherapy to support anxiety, phobias, and stress. My approach is flexible - creative for kids and teens, conversational and insight-focused - always tailored to the client’s goals and comfort.

  • Your first session is an intake appointment where we get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. For adults, we talk directly together. For teens, parents join the beginning of the session. For younger children, I meet with parents to gather important background. During the session, we review goals, explore concerns, and make sure therapy feels like a good fit. It’s a calm, low-pressure introduction. No expectations, just connection and understanding.

  • Yes, I offer HIPPA-compliant telehealth sessions for children, teens, and adults across Florida and Georgia. Teletherapy is a great option for clients seeking flexible scheduling, support from home, or consistent care during busy seasons. All virtual sessions take place through a secure, easy-to-use platform.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many clients receive 60-80% back depending on their out-of-network benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your specific coverage.

  • Individual therapy sessions are $175, and family sessions are $200. Art of Healing Therapy Center is a private-pay practice, and all payments are processed securely through SimplePractice. A credit or debit card is kept on file and automatically charged at midnight on the day of your appointment for a smooth and stress-free checkout.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients meet weekly or every other week, depending on their goals and the level of support they need. During the intake session, we’ll talk through your concerns and create a schedule that fits your pace, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

  • Yes, I provide regular parent communication as part of child and teen therapy. For younger children, I offer more frequent check-ins to support consistency at home and in session. For middle and high school students, updates are provided less often and are focused on overall themes and progress - not private details - so that teens can build trust and autonomy in therapy. Together, we’ll find the right balance of keeping you informed while protecting your child’s confidentiality and comfort.

  • Yes, I offer expressive therapy, which includes art, play, movement, mindfulness, and creative activities to help clients explore emotions in a comfortable, low-pressure way. Expressive therapy is especially helpful for children and teens who have trouble putting feelings into words, but many adults also benefit from creative approaches to reduce anxiety, build insight, and develop healthier coping skills. Sessions blend talk therapy with age-appropriate expressive activities tailored to each client’s needs.

  • A good fit means you feel comfortable, understood, and supported in the goals you want to work on. My therapeutic style is gentle, collaborative, and creative. I combine evidence-based approaches with expressive tools (art, play, mindfulness) to help children, teens, and adults work through anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. If you value a calm, supportive space and a therapist who personalizes treatment, we’re likely a great match. I also offer a free consultation so you can get a sense of my approach before beginning.

  • Getting started is simple. You can request a free consultation directly through my website, and we’ll briefly discuss your needs, goals, and scheduling. If it feels like a good fit, I’ll guide you through setting up your Client Portal in SimplePractice, completing intake forms, and scheduling your first session. I offer both in-person therapy in Clermont, Florida and telehealth for Florida and Georgia residents.
